Mesenchymal stem cells alleviate LPS-induced acute lung injury
“The results of this study will improve our understanding of the immune mechanism underlying MSC-mediated improvement in Acute lung injury ALI. It may provide a novel therapeutic method to modulate the response to ALI.
The study shows that MSC was not only able to inhibit innate immunity but also CD8 cells by decreasing the number of Ly6C+ CD8+ T cells, and inhibiting their function. “
