SMSbiotech would like to announce that Beth Thompson-Webb has joined the Board of Directors in order to lend her 30+ years of commercial expertise to the growth and commercialization of SMSbiotech.
Beth is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at Aldevron where she is responsible for leading their worldwide sales and marketing strategy. Prior to her current role, Beth led the Cell and Gene Therapy global sales team at Cytiva (formerly GE Healthcare Life Sciences), developed and led the first-ever customer experience program at GE Healthcare and was the Chief Global Product Manager at GE Digital, a role where she partnered with start-ups to test new digital solutions.
She is known for inspiring change and bringing innovative ideas to life in complex organizations through the “art of the possible”, building strong stakeholder partnerships, and leading cross-functional team execution within the biotechnology and software industries. We look forward to the unique perspectives she will bring to the board and the SMSbiotech team.
